Straight Street Media is a nonprofit media company that produces thought-provoking projects that motivate positive change. More than entertainment, the production design and media engagement components of our documentaries, podcasts, films, and other digital media offerings connect and engage the audience. We are indeed “opening Eyes to a New Vision.”
Our programs
Straight Street Podcasting Network
The Straight Street Podcasting Network distributes Straight Street Media's community-focused podcasts in partnership with nonprofit organizations. The programs explore thought-provoking topics and showcase diverse audiences achievements. We market and distribute our content through established podcast platforms.
Millennial Producer's Fund
The Millennial Producers Fund supports young digital media producers. This funding opportunity from Street Straight Media offers financial aid and mentorships for creative projects, ranging from feature films to TikTok videos.
Ralph Franklin Prostate Cancer Fund
The Ralph Franklin Prostate Cancer Fund supports the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD) at Clark Atlanta University, an HBCU, with a focus on building a premier research program in prostate cancer, training the next generation of minority scientists in prostate cancer, and developing community-based educational and research programs.
Internship Program
We are committed to training students in our production and development endeavors. The Straight Street Media internship program includes many opportunities to engage young people in the various aspects of the media industry. Our internship program is available to high school and college students and includes experiences in:
- Podcasting production
- Podcasting distribution
- Scripting writing for documentaries
- Digital media production to include video and audio
The Podcast Training Studio
The Straight Street Media Podcasting Studio compliments our Podcasting Network by providing hands-on experience and training to underserved communities in the areas of production, marketing and distribution.
